Groomers can work in grooming businesses, pet supply stores, animal shelters, stables or independently. There are no educational standards for groomers and no licensing procedures for groomers.There is a national organization for groomers that offers voluntary certification. Salary: $22.25 per dog in the salon, a groomer finishing five dogs per day would earn $111.25 per day or $556.25 per week. At 50 weeks per year, that's $27,812.50. On the same basis, a groomer finishing seven dogs per day would earn $38,937 per year.
Dog Walker

In this days many people are out of their homes for almost all day. And dogs are at home alone, Dogs don’t always like to be left alone for too much time, and they need to go out for walks several times a day. Some dog walkers will take out one dog at a time for 15 minutes to an hour. Others will take out many dogs at the same time, sometimes they keep the dogs out for hours. .A similar career would be in doggie day care,working in or running a facility where people drop off their dogs before work and pick them up when they come home from work. There are no educational or training requirements for these position, but they do require liability insurance and bonding. Salary: $120,000 per year.
