Henry Bergh
Henry Bergh the elegant fighter (August 29, 1813 – March 12, 1888). Berghs had friends in the political sphere, and all the friends suggested he take charge of the post of secretary of legation in St. Petersburg was made. Bergh officially created a weapon to society, which provides “Every person who shall by his neglect, maliciously kill, maim, wound, injure, torture, or cruelly beat any horse, mule, cow, cattle sheep or other animal belonging to himself or another, shall, upon conviction, be adjudged guilty of a misdemeanor.” Henry Bergh He fulfilled his great mission, to change many things in the world and they were all good things.Bergh died in 1888, 37 of the 38 U.S. states had passed animal cruelty prevention laws and humane societies and animal shelters were opening across the nation
